hey there,
recently i got together with a guy.. hes really nice and sweet.. but i don't know why.. i dont feel the sparks with him.. i dont feel those feelings for him.. and he said if i dont like him just tell him really.. i dont wanna hurt him.. i just want some time to get to know him and see how things go... it doesnt feel like how i felt the last time i was in love.. what should i do?

Listen to your feelings. I actually married someone because I thought he was wonderful and I "ought" to love him. Found out WAY down the road that he had some pretty terrible character flaws. Your gut is there for a reason. Hold out for real, natural love. You can't shop for a man the way you do shoes. On the other hand, you wouldn't buy shoes if you didn't LOVE them, right....? ;-)

Mandy just be honest with him and tell him just what you said here " I just want some time to get to know him and see how things go" just don't lead him on that is what will hurt him.

Just simply tell him what you said if ever he asks again " i just want some time to get to know him and see how things go.." Try dating him if it works then it works and if doesn't well it just doesn't.

be honest. it will hurt him more if u wait to tell him. if u dont feel that way about him by now then u probably wont. just tell him what ur feeling and see how it goes from there.

this is from a guy's perspective. I don't have a girlfriend, but if I did, I'd want her to be really honest with me. Frankly, If I really liked her but she didn't like me, I'd want to know. but before you tell him anything, make sure you want to. Its kinda like erasing a file off your computer without a recycle bin. once you tell him you don't like him, he might find someone else. but since he likes you, think about what he's done. is he considerate? does he actually care about me? does he want what's best for me? if you answered 'yes' to any of these, i'd consider telling him anything yet. hope this is of help.
