NO, they don't work i've tried several different brands including jergens natural glow & express, and banana boat they just make you orange and streaky and smelling really bad its so much work too, like its too much trouble and hassle, and in the end no matter what it still doesn't look good or natural you should consider just going to a tanning bed tanning is actually pretty good for you when done in moderation moderation is the key, and basically any human activity can kill you if you do it too much tanning in moderation gives you vitamin D(which many people are defficient of) and it helps your mood out by making serotonin in your brain the media makes tanning seem a whole lot worse than it really is. if you want to know more just search up 'tanning truth' or 'tanning benefits' on google I hope this helps (:

If you need this to be done fast, you can go to a place and have it airbrushed on. Or, you could try a gradual tanning product. For traditional products, I've had good luck with using L'oreal self tanning gelee and their corrector/perfecter. It's not 100% prefect, but it's the best product out there, including more expensive products. Do not use long, streight stokes; Instead, use a circular motion and rub it in. Do not use a body product on your face, hands, knees, feet or navel. Use a product developed for those special purposes. Wear gloves and wash your hands well after the application. Make sure your skin is free of dirt and use a scrub before the application. Dry completely before applying, and stay dry for at least 3.5 hours. Do not put your clothes on until the product has been dry for at least 20 minutes. Do not do anything that may cause you to sweat for the entire 3.5 hours.

It really helps if you exfoilate. And the best advice i can give is when u apply it coat your hands very evenly and then then just go up and down your skin in straight lines and make sure you get every single inch. There is no sure-fire way to get your skin tan with cream perfectly however

Yes, use the moisturizers with slow progression gradual tan. Neutrogena and Aveeno make a good product. I think they're all pretty good though and affordable. Because the change is gradual, streaks are easily avoided. Also, multiple applications will speed up the process and your skin will look maaavalous dawling. ;)

Yes, put the cream on in long even strokes, just like is called for in the directions. You are very smart to use a self tanner and not lay in the sun and get wrinked skin. Best Wishes!

first you need to exfoliate very well. don't skimp on that because that is the main reason for splotchiness.
then you need to make sure you apply it evenly. fake bake has one that is tinted so you can see the brown on your skin when you apply it and you won't miss any spots. it washes off later.
the aerosol spray ones are pretty good and don't leave streaks. good luck!

If you use mist tanning spray, or gradual tanning lotion, neither leave you streak less. I love it all.
