why do people who read the bible and call themselves christians think they are always in the right?

I am a Christian and I have read the Bible cover to cover, and I also know I am not always right.

Christianity teaches that everyone is a sinner, therefore everyone has done wrong. Any Christian who comes at you with a 'holier than thou' attitude is probably not quite getting the point.

I don't know. I know someone that thinks that way and there are times when I want to shake her. I am a Christian and I read the Bible but I KNOW I am NOT always right.
