what is the latest version of guitar pro? mine is the fifth version and it seems like some songs can't be played in this version even when i download the song from the ultimate guitar website. mine is not the trial version.

Most software have build updates.which is different then upgrades.
The software company releases these upgrades with fixes to minor bugs that may have been in the first release. They also often add new enhanced features. Becuase the build update is minor they don't charge customers upgrade pricing only advise that the user download the latest build.
