Here is a great recipe for banana choc. chip bread. Makes 2 large loaves or 5 mini.

3 ripe bananas (mashed)
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup nuts
mini chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
Mix all ingredients together except nuts and chips in a mixer.
Stir in nuts and chips.
Grease loaf pans.
Pour mixture in pans.
Bake for about 1 hour. (check after 30 mins if using a mini pan)
Test with a tooth pick to see if done.
