He was smart enough to believe in a being with higher intelligence, a Creator God, like many other great people: (Leonardo da Vinci, Martin Luther, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Gregor Mendel, Pierre & Marie Curie, George Washington Carver, Booker T. Washington, Albert Schweitzer, Billy & Franklin Graham, etc.

Simply because a really smart person knows what he doesn't know. In fact, at the end of his study he began to accept the the existence of an unseen intelligent power behind the seen apparently caotic universe.

Well he was a jew which means he wasn't a christian either. So does that mean all the christians have to convert to judaism just because Einstein didn't believe their religion.

Einstein was a mathematics genius. I'm not sure I'd have wanted him operating on me because, despite his genius, he wasn't a surgeon. Not sure I'd have gone to him for spiritual or religious instruction, either.

"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." --Einstein
"Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe - a spirit vastly superior to that of man...In this way the pursuit of science leads to a religious feeling of a special sort, which is indeed quite different from the religiosity of someone more naive." [Einstein Letter to a child who asked if scientist pray, January 24, 1936; pg. 152 Calaprice]

"I do not believe in a personal god". -Albert Einstein
He was an atheist, and widely criticized at the time for being so. Too bad you missed my point earlier about needing to lie for Jesus to be real. Again, it just goes further to convince people that you have no evidence for your side.
