Running is part of physical well being, which contributes to better sex. If you are not healthy you can not have much of a sex life. Besides not being obese is a benefit. All in all, since I have never not run I can't compare a before and after, but I am still going strong at 61.

Depends on the person. For some people running will relieve stress. Another thing is that running keeps you in good shape physically, which can always improve the sex life. The running itself probably doesn't do much, unless you are someone who wants to run and are being denied, it is more the exercise and that it is the way runners want to get it. I'm sure some may say that it isn't true but runners get their exercise almost daily and in that form. Most of the other forms people are more likely to skip out on,

I am 44 and having great sex. run at least 4 times a weak. I started this 5 years ago when my sex life was almost dying. I was obese and felt very weak then. But now I feel strong and can have sex everyday.

A woman I know lives across town. She gave me a call last night and said, "If you can come to my home within the next 20 minutes, I'm all yours." I discovered my car keys were inside my car with all the doors locked. Long story short...I had a great night and I owe it all to running.

I think Gold has it right. It's the benefits of strenuous, continuous, hard exercise that affects every part of your body and mind.
*sigh* I remember the time we ran 20 or so miles, then went home and had great sex that afternoon.
