It blows my mind how awful the religious sections are getting. Can't we all just get along people?

It's been like this in here for a long time... just hang on to your own integrity and choose what kind of particiant you would like to be....

Because both parties think that they are right and the other is wrong and feel it is their duty to convert the other in order to "save them." Christians are trying to "save atheists from hell" while atheists are trying to "save Christians from ignorance." it's a never ending cycle of insanity.

It could be that "difference of opinion" thing. It's scary sometimes. Why can't we just leave each other alone in refer to anything that could offend us? hah!. Why don't we just do our work or career or job the best we could and just leave the personal part be.

it's the build up of years of tolerance met with I'm gonna save you mentality... how long do we have to ask them to stop praying for us before they respect us enough to do it... how long do we have to say just go preach to yourselves before they do it... we are working for equal rights... we won a battle in the 70's roe vs wade... they still don't leave that one alone (not to mention they are hostile enough that a few doctors were shot and some bombings of abortion clinics occurred) also gay people are finally getting the same rights and freedom as the rest of us and they plan to try and stop that too... we don't stop them from their religions but they do try to stop us from living free and accepting and supporting whom we chose... we don't interfere in their lives we don't say you must have abortions we say to each their own conscience we do not say you must be gay we say let the gays live according to their own conscience.... it's a long over due battle... we simply prefer to do it with words. leave us alone...let us discuss topics freely whiteout your bible BS in our way... let us discover what a free world could be without your condemnation...
