Nose bogeys?

How many different types of bogeys are there?

Lol

Seriously though, all animals get bogeys.

Because cats have noses.

Cats have the same mucous membranes in their noses as humans do and have bogie's for the same reason, to keep dust and allergens out of their airways.

If it's excessive or if you cats nose is runny take it to the vet as a precaution. Cat flu can be deadly.

I wouldn't worry about this unduly. My Siamese has the occasional one and, all I do is gently wipe it off! This is most probably caused by the cells, in the lining of your cat's nose, doing their job by getting rid of anything unwanted it may breathe in. My 'boy' is just coming up to his 15th Birthday and his 'bogies' have never bugged him!!!

Why do people have nose bogies? Mostly likly it is nothing but you may want to ask you vet.

If your cat is acting normal, then there's no reason to concern yourself. Kitty boogers are completely normal! Don't scare yourself by jumping to conclusions, suggesting it's a respiratory infection or the flu just because your cat has some mucus is ridiculous.

Your kittie either has an upper respitory infection or has allergy. it is not normal. you should take her/him to vet to check it out. Is kitty lathargic with this or ok? how about eating? good apetite?
