A better question would be: Why DO people believe in the Greek Gods?

I worship them, but only in the spring.

I am more interested in why people stopped believing in Greek Gods.

After all it makes just as much sense, as belief in any of today's religions.

Oh. They believed in them, because their parent's told them to.

Because that was a way to explain the things they were to stupid to figure out. The same thing now with all the Abraham Frauds--Gods. They will become extinct soon, just like the Greek frauds---Gods.

they were in need of answers to questions that seem common logic to us today. in the future, people will look back on us today and wonder how stupid we were to believe in our god. religion is just the way out for people who are to scared to search for the answers by way of discovery and intelligence. that is what will probably lead to the eventual downfall of our species. stupidity! instead of believing in something we have no evidence of or any need for, why not just look in front of us and actually believe in what we see and have evidence of. i cannot believe the stupidity in people who do not believe in evolution. science is the way of the future. eventually, there will be no religion. we can already see the steady decline of people who are strictly religious. thank the lord! haha.. how ironic.

Why do people believe in "God"?

People use these types of things along with religion to explain things THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND without using logic.

I don't think there are a lot of people out there who really believe in Zeus, Hades, etc... A lot of people are just fascinated with the stories and the names have been incorporated into society (Saturn, Apollo, Mercury, etc....)
