Oh dear - then I cannot be a true atheist.
Because I sit here typing this answer:
And i see the flowered in the garden
And i hear the birds sing
And i see the then fly to land and eat and play
Just now a squirrel stood on the table and ate
Sometimes I just want to cry because the world is so beautiful
How I sense the total spirit of nature and the answers of life it encompasses.
Oh I cannot be a true atheist - I must be an impostor - or is it the joys I feel when I walk and see and feel the joys and wonders.
And is this true of my work- my vocation - my dedication:
For when I hear the pain of a persons life and i help to relate - liberate - free - am I just a machine playing out a programme or a person who has journeyed and tasted life.
It the spirit of humanaty dependent on supernatural influence, I think not. But what the journey teaches us whan we are open.

Bible says: A fool says in his heart there is no God. Even a simple building is an evidence of its builder. Even a kindergarten book is an evidence of its author. Even a simple tool is an evidence of its maker. How can this Universe including smart people like human beings do not have a Creator-God? Read Bible and know truth.

I prefer an 'Evolved Spiritual Gene' i.e. we are uplifted by the universe as it is (including tasty food, sweetly singing birds & rainbows) without the need of a supernatural element to give us joy.

i'd like to see a referance to that study. unless it's pure bs of course.
edit: did you even read that link? this is a copy and paste quote from the VERY FIRST LINE!
"We are hearing a lot of talk about the possibility of a "spiritual gene" these days; an interesting hypothesis, but in no way having been proven to be true"

I believe you could benefit from a frontal lobotomy. I have a brace and bit and an exacto knife. Are there any brain surgeons in the house? (atheist preferred)

That is a large amount of a brown, disgusting, semi-solid substance that has been eliminated from the digestive tract of a sexually functional male bovine.
You can take your dogma and make a suppository out of it.

Just another religious bum who doesn't like atheist because they have a different point of view. So instead of getting into an intelligent debate you just attack us so you can feel better.
