Give it some time. When you are 13, two years is a big difference. Also, just think about what her parents would think if she was dating a 15 year old guy! Not that everything revolves around a girl's parents, but you want them to like you. Her parents most likely don't want her dating at all. Just give it some time. Just think about it. The difference between 18 and 20 doesn't seem too big. That is a while, but maby you can wait until you are about 17 and she is 15. That still doesn't sound good, but its much better than 13 and 15,

Like her slowly. Her parents are probably very cautious about her being around older people. 2 years means a big difference at your age. It won't mean so much once you two are out of school. Be friends now, hang around with your group, get to know her, and it might turn into love later. This is a long and difficult way to go, but it might be the best when you finally bring her around (and you both are old enough). Good luck.

lol if she thinks the 2 year difference is a lil weird then her parents either 1.) are telling her that its weird, or 2.) her parents are VERY similar in ages (different of maybe a year TOPS between the two) or 3.) she likes someone else and is making up excuses or 4.) shes 13 and less then a year ago she was 12 so she probly doesnt have that great of a grasp on dating and stuff like that.

Haha, almost sounds like me, im 15 but the girl I like is 14, but is 2 grade differences from me. If she really likes you, then why would she care if its a little awkward for you? Just let her know, in 10 years, being 2 years younger than some guy really dosent matter, and it dosent now.
Also, she may not be mature enough to like someone alot, she may just have little crushes. Like me, I like this girl, probably a little too much, she likes me back, but not as much and dosent want a commitment.
If you have aim, you could instant message me i could give you more help, just email me and ill tell you.

But, I guess u if u really like this girl and she really likes u tell her age shouldn't matter especially if u guys are only 2 years apart me and my fiance ar 2 1/2 years apart and boy do i love him I like older guys just not to much older. But I wish u all the look and I hope u get the girl!!!!!!!!!

try some of the following
how old are her parents? both, because the dad is probably a few years older than the mom
or tell her that age shouldnt matter
or even that in the future, the two year difference wount matter, imagine, you twenty-two, she will only be twenty, its very minor
plus tell her she is very mature, and girls your age act like 12 year olds.
i hope one of those will do the trick, i know the last one did the trick for me when i was younger (about your age)
good luck :D

Sometimes age difference okay. Because age ain't nothing but a number so when i was 13 i dated a boy who was 15 and we got along great!!! We lasted a long time we had some disagreements but it was good and we still talk.

When I was 15 I dated a 13 year old guy. It's not a big deal if your maturity level is around the same.

If you rrly like her than find a way to make her feel special.
Teach her that just cuz ur 2 yrs older than her doesnt mean it cant work out for the 2 of u.

Hey maybe she is just using that as an excuse for not wanting to be with you...i know its harsh but gotta face reality...move on....the only advice is giving her a honest talk and tell her how you feel about her and that age shouldn't matter if two people like each other....you should figure out with that if she is interested or not...
