Most people have experienced love because it is an emotion, so one doesn't really need to "prove" its existence to most people. However, proving an invisible superior being exists is a little tougher. You can't point to something you feel, see or touch and say, "Obviously that must be God."

Everyone knows how is is to feel love (for something, anything) but not everyone knows about God - so you cant prove the experiencial to them.
