Depends on the overall sound you want. I love the neck on a Gibson SG, but a Fender strat has a nice rich sustain if you get the right one. The best advice I ever got was to put the instrument in your hand. The one you won't let go of is the one for you!

Depends what sound U want. go to a music shop & try them both out through an amp. Pick the one U like best, but be aware that there are others that are cheaper that sound just as good. Try ou as many as the shop will let U! Hope this helps.

bass Gibson guitar Fender it also depends on how it feels to you i love my OPI bass guitar because of the fell. the guitar should fell like a part of your body not a not like it going against the fell of your body

They are both junk, I prefer one of those cheesy ones made in china for $ 129.99 at wal-mart. Then I like to smash it into little pieces.
