Ok what if I have the money for bail but I have no job? will they still let me bail the person out?

Yes. But get a receipt because cops may pocket the money and make up lies about how he got out.

If you are going through a bondsman they will want some type of collateral so that they can collect their money if the person jumps bond. Be prepared to pay if your friend doesnt show up for court the bondsman wont be too friendly if he has to hunt your buddy down and you may be charged additional fees if he has to chase him down.

the bondsman will just charge you a percentage of the bond. it is usually 10% to 15%

They do not care if you are working, but DON'T DO IT!!!! Every person I have ever known who bailed someone out (me included) has been burned later by the person that they bailed out.

You do not need or want a useless bondsman.
Just determine the amount required, get the cash together,
drive to the Court House and pay the Bond. That's all there is to it.

find a Bail Bond agency and talk to them

It will depend ont he bondsmen if they trust you, since if the person does not show up, you have to pay the bondsmen back all the money the bondsmen pays.
