see I live with mygranmother(she doesn't look like it and shes not that old so i really don't care), and she is the one who takes care of me and does everything for me. Well I'm still in touch with my real mom and stuff(which i call her by her 1st name, Rolonda and i call my grandmother Mama). Well sometimes me and my mom fight, not big or terrible fights just normal everyday parent and child fights. And this time rolonda has decided if i talk back(I really don't consider what i do talking back, and I bet a lot of white parents wouldn't either but hey its stupid black culture), that she is gonna beat me up(well she didn't say that but thats what she meant, she a mean and violent person, she beat her son just because he answed the door to family, and he knew it was them, not some total stranger! so I definitly know thats what she meant! Shes nothing but a mean, witch! One time i put aleo in her other sons hair and she beat me with a extesion cord, in front of our great grandmother.

and when grandmama rose(our great grandmother) told her to stop she totally ignored and all I did was but aleo gel in his hair! it was Totally wasable she could have wiped it off with a wet dishrag! my question his if she beats me up or tries to should I call the police/ My mom allways trys to get her to stop but she never litsens! Oh and she says she has a right to hit me because shes my mom but the ***** has done like 5 or 6 things for me in my whole entire life! Plus she gave me up, my mom has adopted me! so she can't be beating up on me right?

Shes not my mom at least I don't consider her to be. before my real mom adopted me she gave me to a child molester who wasn't even my real dad. And when i was a baby she almost drowned me(I was again saved by my real mom) and she also locked me in a closet so she could smoke when i was a baby(aginan my real mom saved me).

My Grandmother is a grewat mom9I'm not messed up) but her father is jaked up(which is whty my grandmother left him0 that whole family is crazy1 Her father is a drug addicit and everything else its not my grandmothers fault that rolonda is a mess!

My family was there when i was beat up and no they didn't just sit there they tried to stop her but she is crazy and wouldn't listen plus everyone is scared of her!

Being beaten with an extension cord is child abuse. If it happens again you should report her and make sure you do it in time for them to see the welts. Respect her, but don't let her beat you. Can you talk to a counselor at school? You really need someone to vent to about your feelings and frustrations. Can your grandma protect you from her? It sounds like Rolonda needs some help. Kids talk back all the time, but you don't tell them in any way that you will beat them up. I would talk to your grandmother about this and see if she can help you and your mom get a better relationship. Or get you guys to counseling. By the way did everyone just sit there when you mom beat you with an extension cord??

Well if your grandmother has custody of you your mom has no say so of what goes on in your life.. she lost that right when she gave you up. And yes you should definately call the police if she beats you... now there is a difference in spanking and beating so dont get them confused. But you should definately report her if she beats you.

Call child support, or 911.
Don't be afraid to give them your information;it will keep you safe.
Just ask your grandmother if you can search their number on the internet. And if you haven't told your grandmother, TELL HER NOW!!

girl i understand. in my case it was my father saying that not my mom. my mom was the one who raised me. just remember this you will always be with your grandma not your real mom. and she needs to understand that she cant be making threats if she wants to continue to talk or even see you. see my mom told my dad like this. you ain't the one raising her and you barely even get to see her. so watch what you do or even say to her.
