Have you ever even TRIED praying and asking if Christianity is true?
You can rationalize it all you want, but it is a FACT that no matter how good of a person you are, you will burn in Hell forever when you die if you are not a Christian.

Guess what dear, I was a christian for 17 years. I prayed and prayed and prayed, trying to get SOMEONE or SOMETHING to answer.
I read all that nonsense about just praying and asking if it was true and it would be revealed to me, and guess what? Nothing ever happened, EVER.
Then I realized that I had wasted 17 years that I will never get back of this the one life I get, and I'm pretty pissed about that as you can probably understand...
Talk about the pot calling the kettle arrogant...

Actually, many atheists are ex-Christians, so I would think that they DID pray before they left.
As for your FACT, if your God is so loving, why doesn't he perform a couple little measly miracles nowadays so that we can all believe? It'd be no effort at all for Jesus to come back once a year, and talk to each one of us person-to-person and answer all our questions, but no. That's too much trouble for a God who supposedly doesn't want any of us to go to hell... yet expects us to believe a 2000-year-old fairy tale in order to avoid it. Nice.

Lemme get this right - we're to pray to a sky man whom no one has ever seen since the last time someone in a book about him did, to ask if it's true?
You think none of us have religious backgrounds?
Your God supposedly created everything, including all the people on Earth, yet you're okay with him sending ANY of them to burn? Why would a loving God do that, if he truly loved all of his creation?

Yeah. I tried that the first 15 years of my life. But I couldn't delude myself into thinking it worked. How arrogent of you to think that you know what happened to me.
Too bad pretty much no christians I know would agree with you on that hell thing. If you guys can't even agree amongst yourselves, why do you expect anyone else to listen?

I prayed for a puppy when I was 5. I didn't get it, so I became an Atheist. If a child can figure out that God doesn't exist, why can't adults?

I'm arrogant because I'm right.
Long story short: I used to be a christian. I started doubting. This troubled me, so I spent a year of praying and studying the bible. I spent many nights crying and begging god to help me become closer to him and to reveal himself to me in his word.
He did neither.
If I am wrong and god exists, and he still wants to sentence me to an eternity in hell when I held up my end of the bargain and he didn't, so be it. But at this point, I have no reason to believe he does.

OH MY GOD;
I just received a email from HEAD OF HELL, he disagree with you.
He said that if you were rigth, the HELL will be run out of space in 2 years time.
It's a word of God , you have to believe it.

How do you know we are going to be in a bad place after our bodies die. What if nothing happens after death, then there is no where you go and you can't control where you go.
