Why do supporters of Darwinian evolution try to "cover up the tracks" of the Paluxy River dinosaur tracks, which was proven scientific find, and a revolutionizing indeed? Who has a theory against this find in particular? I posted this question in religion because I believe it's a case for religion. Both evolution, nor Jesus raising up from the dead can be proven with today's science. I'm saying today because it will eventually be proven by Jesus when he comes here for the 1000-year reign. So about the question, what do you think about this find?

those of you who are posting articles disregarding this find as real, have you visited the site of the find at all or talked to Dr. Carl Baugh. Those who are claiming that the human prints aren't human, might be claiming that they are rather "forms of "metatarsal" dinosaur tracks--made by dinosaurs which, at least at times, made elongate prints by impressing their metatarsi (soles and heels) as they walked, rather than walking on their toes only. When the digit marks on such elongate/metatarsal tracks are subdued by sediment infilling, mud- collapse, erosion, or a combination of factors, the metatarsal segment at the rear often presents an oblong shape that roughly resembles a large human footprint." exerpt taken from http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/paluxy/onheel.html. But one should know that dinosaurs rarely have 5 digits, or toes, like humans do and which is found at the site. One should also go there themselves and see the ecofacts for themselves.

The tracks are not human (if they were, they would be from a 12 ft. tall human) they are dinosaur tracks.

Well, that is one possibility - that dinosaurs were alive not too long ago. There is some evidence that they even survived into modern times in remote areas, like in the book and movie(s) "The Lost World".

Another possibility is that humans have been around a LOT longer than supposed, like millions of years, so were therefore co-existant with dinosaurs, like in the old comic strip "Alley Oop". I read that the Hindus actually believe that man has been on earth for BILLIONS of years.

There are two other possibilities. The human tracks could have been made by time travelers from the future, or else by explorers from outer space, who may have even been our remote ancestors.

In and of themselves, the tracks do NOT necessarily prove that the Darwinian theory is totally wrong, tho do seem to indicate that mankind did not evolve just when the evolutionists claim (long after the dinosaurs became extinct). But it does indicate that could be a possibility. But... IF our remote ancestors did come from space, then they did not evolve here on earth, but elsewhere in the universe, so we would be the descendants of colonists or emigrants from another solar system. The possibility might be remote, but it is still a possibility.

I agree with you. But I don't know anything about the find. So I can't comment. Geologically speaking there is some evidence of a world wide flood some 20 or 30 thousand years ago. This probably occurred between Genesis 1: 1 and Genesis 1:2 . This period is called the "first earth age . A time dispensation that started in the beginning and ended on the 6th day of the book of Genesis. And was millions of years. That is probably why it says , "and darkness was over the surface of the deep (flood waters)" So there may have been dinosaurs a mere 20 or 30 thousand years ago. great commentary/question.

You should get a better education. Most of those "tracks" were not human at all, and the others were proven scientifically to be fakes. This is old news. By the way, evolution has been proven on a micro-level beyond doubt (for people who actually understand science), and it has a great deal of support on the macro-level. Why would whales need hip bones? Oh right, they don't. But I'm sure your fellow believers are very happy that you just made Christians appear ignorant. Reading, it's fundamental.

It is the Truth that will set us free and I will pin my faith on John 3 14 to 19 and examine both sides of the interpretation or old earth, new earth with an open mind and interested eye. In the end it will be Genesis (God created) and Revelations (God judged and created a new earth) matter more than 8,000 or 8 Billion years. Many atheists have an even more viscous zeal for their "beliefs" than a Christian though because atleast a Christian feels that he will be held accountable at the end of his life. They have made up their mind and no amount of contadictory evidence will change their minds. Remember the story about Lazarus and the rich man... even a man rising from the dead will not convince them!

The Taylor trail is much clearer than the Paluxy.

Sorry but the so called human footprints next the the dino prints were discredited over 20 years ago.

REPLY - Find scientists in the filed other than Carl Baugh, reputable scientists, who support his claims and maybe I'll begin to take his claims seriously. Baughs so called credentials are a joke.

I think that even most hard core creationists no longer try to pass this off as "proof". Pictures of the tracks show dino large tracks going in one direction, and smaller tracks going in another. They don't look particularly human to me, a non expert, and actual experts in the field definately don't think they are human.

You need to check out info on those so-called "human footprints" with a source other than a creationist source. Look at the following website to get another opinion.

They have the credibility of the Sasquatch tracks that are common finds in my neck of the woods. Interesting? Sure. Proof of universal import? Nope. As for Christ, I will emulate his actions, and let that be my footprint.

Do a Google search on "Ica rocks" (not Inca) and you'll see engraved stones 1000 years old showing a man spearing a Stegosaurus.
Job 40,talks about one called Behemoth who stands in the rushing river yet is not moved ,eats grass like an ox and has a tail like a cedar tree.Crocs don't eat grass, elephants and Hippos have teeny tails, sounds like a dino to me.What that guy above me said is absolutely FALSE.It is true. Also they have a tin cup in the middle of a huge chunk of coal that was supposed to take millions of years and tons of pressure to form.
