Alright I'm looking for a book chapter verse reference to where Jesus explains why His disciples do not go with out wine or food. he says something like "when the bridegroom and bride are with you at the reception don't you celebrate with them? there will come a time when my followers will have to fast and go without wine but it is not while the bridegroom is with them"
i can't find where this is from biblegateway but i really need to know where this passage is. THANKS!

It doesn't say it the way you mention it. Rather, here's the passage you're looking for:
"Then John's disciples came and asked him, "How is it that we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?" Jesus answered, "How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast. "No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved." (Matthew 9:14-17)

It's talking about that the disciples of Jesus will not fast as long as he is with them, but will fast after he is gone. He is preparing them for his crucifixion, death, burial, and ascention. They did not understand any of what he was saying until after the events took place. Get a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible. That should help you find it, if you are willing to put out the effort. God Bless.

Matthew 9:14 but you are getting two passages mixed up.The disciples going out with out food has nothing to do with this.
