I'm 16 5'9 and I weigh like around 240 pounds. When I tell people that they don't belive I weigh that much (they think I weigh like around 210), but the scale does not lie. I'm kinda bulky with a mix of fat. I'm on the football team. I know for sure thats helping out since were lifting weights and doing footwork before the season. I'm trying to do somethin a little extra out of football training like at home that will help me lose weight in the next 2 months or less. (Ab exercises, push-ups, etc) Something that does not involve in me buying some workout videos and stuff like that. Suggest me a routine, something that will get me motivated enough to stick with it.
Any Suggestions?

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Diet has a lot to do with it, but continue with your exercise, too. Ever notice how skinny runners are? I used to think that it was just because the only people who could run were already skinny. Not so. Any aerobics that get you moving fast and sweating for at least 25 mins a day will work. I started counting calories and jogging one mile, walking one mile every day. I also drank a lot of water and cut out fat, sugar, and simple carbs. I've lost 13 lbs in 3 weeks. I was 5'4" and 175 when I started. I'm still going, though!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

It's healthy if you're eating right and watching your calories and food portions. Cardio for an hour a day is good for you, but you need to be breaking a sweat in order to see results. I'm not sure if you'd lose 20lbs in 2 months but you never know :)

have you ever tried Dance Dance Revolution? It would be helpful in shedding some extra pounds, it's addicting, and it's a ton of fun. It also seems it may help out with your current football training. I love playing it, the only downfall is you have to shower every time after playing it because you will sweat, and for me, (a girl) it kinda sucks to have redo my hair and make up ten times a day because I just can't get enough of the game. Anyway, give it a try.

I'm no professional, but cardio and a high protein diet is what I'm always hearing. A cheap and easy route is walking/running a few laps a day around the neighbor hood.

You will need to do plenty of cardio and watch what you eat. Try to run or swim 5-6 days a week and cut back on anything fried, fatty, etc.

Good luck!

drink lots of fluids.. cause ur body wont burn as much off if ur dehydrated

sub in healthy things instead of reaching for that chocolate bar.. go for some fruit.. its got sugar too.. but the sugar found in fruit is easier for ur body to process.
