Okay I have a cat that meows non stop everyday. If you have the same problem. This is what I do to my cat I smack it lightly on the fore head and tell him in the face I really want him to stop. Gradually he'll understand :)

You leave the room where the cat is? You walk away from it? Or you cave and pet it for a few minutes? Would it kill you to? Petting a cat can be quite relaxing and a kind gesture.
I have 2 cats that usually won't leave me around but it's usually due to wanting food or just some attention. They will bother you if they want something. That's one way they communicate. If they meow and bother you then there might be a physical problem that requires a vet visit. If it's a neighbor's cat, just leave. But be kind to the cat. Don't hit or try to kick it. That will make it worse. I will come after you if I see you kick or hit a cat.

There are sprays that you can buy in pet stores that is orderless to humans but keeps animals and cats away from you! If you try playing with the cat or give the cat ANY attention he/she will continue to bother you wanting more.
I would not suggest doing anything rash to the cat (although it may keep the cat away) you may end up being disliked by its owner or worse!
Its apparent you and the "kitty" don't get along. I happen to love any cat "annoying me"! Each to their own! LOL!
Good Luck.

First, if you're worried about his well being, agenda a examine up with his vet. once it truly is all cleared up (assuming no longer some thing's incorrect- it will be that your cat is bugging you because he's attempting to allow you to recognize he's ill) then it in basic terms potential he needs you to pay interest on him. My cat is an same way, and that i made her plenty a lot less needy with the help of having "Lila" time. each nighttime, before i flow to sleep, I call her and then in basic terms puppy her and snuggle mutually with her and play for more advantageous or less 10 minutes, till she receives bored and both lays down & falls asleep or walks away. She's way easier to attend to at least some thing of the time now.

Cats need to be stimulated. So your cat is probably bored if he/she is "bothering" you. I find that if I don't play wih my cat every day or every few days, she becomes very vocal and very "in your face." So I try to play with her and stimulate her. Plus it is fun and funny! Get some interactive toys like remote control mice. or a climber pole covered with carpet. (also helps if there is a scratching problem). about 10 minutes is all it takes.

How is it bothering you; is it your cat and if so, do you even like it? Cats are cats. If you don't love it and want to put up with it, get it a new LOVING home.

hey there....it depends on what type of annoying he/she is...does your cat want attention all the time? if so give it some attention and find a toy that the cat really likes and play with the cat. :)

Pick it up and give it a warm hug and cuddle with it. It will last for about 3 minutes and then the cat will be bored and leave you alone. Don't be rough with it, that will just make it mad and it will keep coming back.

OK, well, turn on a vacuum cleaner, hair dryer or dust buster, cats hate the sound, works good for getting them out from under furniture. put it in a large room and keep its food water and toys in there, along with the litter box, and close the door until you can spend time with it, let it outside to play, if its fixed it won't usually run away unless you're mean to it, and if your lucky maybe kitty will put a nice fresh mouse head on the front doormat for you to step on!
