It sounds to me like she is just a regular cat. She would be called a DSH which is a domestic short hair. That is the term for cats when they are not purebred. Or, if they look like a pure breed, for example, Maine Coon, you would call it a Maine Coon Mix. But just regular cats with short hair are called Domestic Short Hair.

More than likely she is just a DSH or Domestic Shorthair. They are just regular cats, they dont have a pedigree and cannot be shown in the breed ring. If you provide a link to a picture I could tell you for sure what breed she is. Here is a link to CFA's,Cat Fanciers Association, to the breed lists It starts with Abyssinians and then on the left you can click the links to other breeds. http://www.cfainc.org/breeds/profiles/abyssinian.html

She sounds like a domestic short hair. She's probably not a pure breed, but most likely a mixed breed.

Most cats are not a breed...only if you specifically got her from a breeder and paid a lot of money for it would she be a "breed". Most cats are Domestic Shorthairs, Mediumhairs, or Longhairs. Depending on your cats hairlength...this is most likely the cat you have.

That is because all she is is a domestic short hair. Nothing out of the ordinary like a sphinx, himalayan or bengal.

Could be an American Composite (AKA a mutt kitty). I have 3 cats of mixed ancestry. They don't seem to care and, come to think of it, neither do I.

She is probably just a domestic short hair; by her coloring, she is a tuxedo.

I expect she is a domestic SH, aka, mutt, mixed-breed, moggy or bitzer.
