I think the drinking age should be lowered from 21 to 18 becouse when you are 18 you are a adult. like it sucks when you just finish high school but your still not old enough to drink. What do you think. should it be 18 or 21 or a different age? tell me

Maybe it should be like a driver's licence. You take a test before you get a drinking permit and it is based on age. A little wine cooler at 18. Beer at 21. Hard liquer after age 30. A bartender checks your ID before you're served and has the right to give you a breathilizer and refuse service. You get drunk in public or worse and the permit is revoked and you can't buy alcohol anywhere.

i think that 21 is just fine. people that are 21 are still immature and do not know how to handle their alcohol. most of the kids that wreck because of drinking and driving are 21 and younger anyways. i really dont want to die because of some immature kids that are abusing the alcohol and driving like some fools. so making the legal drinking age 18 is not too smart!

I agree, it was 18 when I grew up, but back then they still had the draft and the logic was if you were old enought to go to war you were old enough to drink. I don't exactly know when it got crossed back over, but I would have been 1 law breaking SOB in college had it not been 18.

The drinking age should stay at twenty-one and the driving age should be raised to twenty-one. Being a high school graduate has nothing to do with being old enough to drink.

I think it should stay as is or we would have a lot more drunken drivers on the road. they drive bad enough without drinking.
