I currently live in Toronto and I am just wondering if it would be a smart move to go to Vancouver.

vancouver, it is a gorgeous friendly city. if you like the outdoors there is so much here. you are less than an hour from the ocean, mountains, forest, and farmland. the people have that wonderful west coast laid back attitude.

the person above is delusional the best city is Vancouver for all reasons, I was born in Toronto and lived there several years but nothing beats Van City

For the culture--> Vancouver. Except there's alot of teenagers and young adults trying to "find themselves" and its more expensive than T.O
Toronto is a more practical place overall, but it is still busy ALL THE TIME and unless you know it really well it's easy to get lost, obviously you don't have this problem because you live there also.
Vancouver is overall more laid back, but still bustling, while Toronto is kind of uptight (you know what I mean?) but it's a beautiful, diverse place.
Vancouver is also more expensive than T.O

hey well i live in toronto as well and i love living here, there are so many opportunity and diverse community. I know couple of my relatives living there in Vancouver, it is quiet alrite they well they tell me, just like toronto but if u r already living in toronto i would strongly suggest you to stick here, as we do love all toronotians...

Depends if your life is about working and getting drunk (Toronto) or living and enjoying the outdoors (Vancouver).
I know of people who moved from Van to TO and couldn't believe the rampant alcoholism and lack of life outside of work and drinking that existed there.
Other people moved to Van from TO and can't figure out why there isn't a dance club on every corner and everyone else wants to go to the ocean, or the Islands or the mountains instead of exist in an alcoholic stupor...

it depends do u like the city lights and entertainment or do u like mountains and the country side and the rain.if u like the city its better in toronto if u like the country side then its better in vancouver.but vancouver is more safer than toronto and is very beautiful. i live in toronto too filled with fun and exitement so... its ur desision!
