Oh what a load of unbelievers there are! None of you know what you are talking about. Yes there are fake ones out there, but let us get one thing straight, genuine ones do not tell fortunes, they merely bring messages to people from their loved ones as a comfort. I am a spiritualist medium and I can assure all of you I do not prey on the vulnerable, nor extort money from people. I do clairvoyant evenings, church services just for my petrol money and it involves a lot of travel sometimes. I do charge a small amount for a private reading (only if the person can afford it) because I have to live the same as everybody else. When you pass from this earthly life you will all know how wrong you are!

Like anything else, some of it is genuine & some not.
Ive had some amazing experiences with people who have tuned into their psychic abilities. They have told me things they could have only got from the person in the spirit world, so I have no doubt that the ones I have come across have been genuine.
Try watching Colin Fry on ftn. Go & see a medium yourself. Then make up your own mind.

Given the lack of any scientific evidence it would show they are fake. Of course many people are against science, but science is the simple procedure of testing truth. Since many attempts have been made, all of which will of had test devised by the scientist and medium together in a way to create the fairest method, and none have shown any proof then I cannot believe.
It is not up to those who don't believe to prove it untrue, it is up to those who believe to prove it true. Given that cold reading is a technique that can be implemented so easily to con people it is no wonder people have seen fit to make so much money out of something seen to be so mysterious and often of very intense personal feelings that can cloud judgment.

I believe there are real ones and fake ones jut like everything else in life. I believe they are real because I went to see one 2-3 years ago and everything she told me has come true. She described every inch of my husbands face. The thickness of his eye brows type of hair eyes everything. Also my sister went with me one time and she said about the daughter my sister lost.Got the age she would be described her everything. If you find a genuine one then they are worth visiting

Some are real, some are fake. People who don't charge for their services are generally real.

The real ones are in trouble listening to spirits and the fake ones are raking in the cash.

I do believe in the after life, but I dont think you should communicate with them, if you do I think you are talking to demons they can take on the form of the person you are trying to communicate with.

Totally fake. They take advantage of suckers, folks looking for answers. If they were real they could tell you something important, like lottery numbers or that you have cancer. They don't..they deal in vague things and obvious answers.
