Punish is an ugly term........

God disciplines his children out of Compassion.

There once was a copper teapot that through the years had acquired many dings and dents.
The tinsmith that made the copper teapot spotted it one day, while traveling through the city. Recognizing that it was one his very own, purchased it and took it to his workshop.
The teapot was overjoyed that it had been rescued, and was elated to once again be in the hands of its Creator.
The tinsmith proceeded to work on it to remove the dings and dents. The teapot in the process of repair said to itself, while in near tears, my original creator is now beating and hammering on me after rescuing me from the abuse I have experienced in the past. Only now I have to endure more pain and suffering.
The tinsmith was carefully tapping with a wooden mallet and wood block to remove the abused areas that his original creation had endured.
The Tinsmith was bringing the teapot back into its original pristine form prior to its being purchased. And this process was not recognized by the teapot.

God is working on man in the same fashion. A tap here and a tap there, so as to bring man back into his original pristine form. Bringing back that original beauty that God had created, prior to mans departure into the world, where so many dings and dents occur.

May the Peace and Blessings of God be with you............

nicely, i do no longer know approximately everyone else's mothers and dads, yet when I did something incorrect as a baby, i'd be reprimanded, yet finally forgiven. It appears like God is an abusive determine. He leaves Adam and Eve via themselves for slightly, and Eve drew everywhere in the partitions with a sharpie, so God threw them the two outdoors and left them there to die.

No, not the bible god anyhow.

Discipline allows for the learning of a lesson and the chance to make things right or ensure the same wrong is not committed.

The bible God just throws people into hell for eternity. That's not discipline, that's vengeance.
