Yes, quite right, but you didn't mention that The Heritage Foundation has told senators the bill will cost the government 2.5 trillion dollars in social services such as social security over and above what the low-wage earning immigrants will be able to contribute to the system.

Yet I see people like John, above, saying they're just going to sit around and wait and see what happens. I'm ready to raise hell with the traitors in Congress and the White House, but few people around me seem to feel like it's worth doing anything. At least I wrote to my congressman and senators for what good it will do. At least I'm TRYING to do something.

La Raza actually DID sit down with our politicians and craft parts of this shameful pile of pig poo.

They also will get to automatically petition to have 750,000 relatives a year brought over.....on top of the record immigration we already have. And another 300,000 foreign work visas too. Can anybody say $5 a gallon gasoline, $300 a month to heat a small home and land prices going up so fast that kids of the next generation will have to live 20 to a house to afford it (just like the illegals do now).

How do they know the statistics when most are only asking in hispanic communities. I agree that if it were put to a national vote. 95% of real Americans would not vote for such a ridiculous act that supports criminal activity. They can think all they want to, if they even do. But the American people will revolt if they even try in this economy. What a bunch of hypocrites. Want all laws passed to help them become legal lawbreakers.

Yes! Oh, and yes to your question about La Raza's wishlist... Though I'm sure they feel the bill is unjust and cruel, most definitely racist.

Wow, you really got it right on! It could also be called 'taxes from U.S. Citizens for illegal aliens. Oops, I mean 'undocumented immigrants'. If I say illegal alien six months after this Bill goes into effect I could be arrested for a 'hate crime'.

Why not.. as it is we don't leave their non-English learners behind.
When I was in school if you were a dumbazz you were left behind. Your teacher wasn't the one at fault you were. So the name: Leave No Illegal Behind Bill would work since they could relate to the left behind part. LOL

You get a star. This whole subject has the American people so frustrated and irritated at the government's complete lack of enforcement that I fear civil war ahead. We don't want to give illegal aliens amnesty. We don't want them here at all. God forbid this bill passes, wait and see.
