I have always wanted to get it done but worried what my husband would think now he says he don't care if I do it is my choice. I am taking my daughter to get her lip pierced for her 15th birthday and her cousin to get her tongue done so I thought maybe I would get my nose done with them.

Not that I'm saying you shouldn't, but just realize some people are probably going to look at it and think, "Whoa, Hello Mid-Life Crisis"

Actually you at a good age. You can pierce it and later if you decide it not for you, remove the stud and many times it just close up like it was never there.
If, people think 34 is old, they not very bright. Heck, people live to be 70-100 today. You just a girl by that measure and have 36 + years to get old.

No you're not too old for that. My friend is a licensed body-piercer and he has lots of mothers and daughters come in together. Go for it! You're daughter will think its awesome and very open-minded of you. Plus, just take it out if you don't like it.

Nose piercings are very tasteful as well. You can just get a small stud that nobody will notice unless they stand really close to you.

Yes. I'm 34 as well and there is a time to realize that you want to be taken seriously. Have you ever thought about what you have accomplished in the last 16 years since high school? What will you accomplish in the next 16? A candidate with the more qualifications and a nose ring will never get a job over someone less qualified and no ring.

My answer is just that if you have to ask.........You shouldn't worry about what people think but if you are questioning it, it probably means you know you know you shouldn't. But, if you're taking your daughter for her lip piercing at only 15 you seem pretty free wheeling. I didn't allow my daughter to get her belly button pierced until she was 16. If you feel strongly about it, you won't be happy till you do it!!

I guess I don't know why a mother would encourage her child to get a piercing of any kind, how does this make her a better person or give her more self esteem or do any thing for her.And by getting yours done you are encouraging her and her friend.I think the good Lord made her perfect and she doesn't need any hole's or piercings added nor do you.

I had my nose pierced, and I love it! Get a little diamond stud. People will hardly notice that you have it done. It is a piercing that is more for yourself than anything. Get it done. You'll look fabulous, and NO you are not too old to get it done. I'd rather you do that than your nipples. lol

Nope... never too old to get your nose pierced! They can look really cute... a little diamond stud, nothing too big though. You want it to just catch a persons eye if they are talking to you up close, not catch someones attention from across the room.

i'd say your might want to get a nostril stud and as many ear piercings as you want. abdomen piercing would look sturdy. on your daughters i'd say stick with ear piercing. wish this helps!
