it probably does. when you wear a scent your body gets used to the way it smells and you are unable to smell it on yourself. just like you can smell someone's perfume, they can smell yours as well. i sprayed myself with perfume about three hours ago and i can't smell it anymore but it's still there. the best way to maximize the smell potential is to put a dab on your pulse points, (wrists, elbow bends and jugular veins)
do not start wearing large amounts of fragrance!! the only thing that will acomplish is making people sick. i am one of those people. i get migraine headaches that are induced by scents. when people wear too much fragrance i get a migraine and throw up. that is probably one of the biggest problems i have to deal with in my office and people think it is rude when they are asked to cut back on how much they wear.

I had that problem with lacoste pour femme. I think they are just too light and so many perfumes are watered down these days...They never last long enough. You don't want something overwhelming, but it fades in no time? It's often the one you love that never lasts. Try to find a solid perfume that you love, or perfume oils. I read a tip to put a thin layer of plain unscented vaseline on pulse points and then spray on perfume. It gives it something to hold onto. Layering the matching body care products doesn't help much because those are the same notes as the perfume has in it and will likely fade just as fast. I also try to find a perfume with notes in it that I know smells good and last a long time on me. Sephora.com has a fragrance finder for that.

Perfume should not be smelled by the person wearing it. It should a suttle smell that comes off your body through out the day for those around you to smell. Don't spray perfume on your clothes. After showering, spray 3-4 squirts in your hand and pat it on your body. Some good places to put it are behind the ear, back of the neck and around the collar bone.

Are you sure it isn't staying?
your nose will adjust to the smell eventually and you wont notice but others will

also a lot of things get called perfume
but they are not all the same strength
see which concentration level your falls under
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perfume#Concentration_levels
and see if your sents are sold in a higher concentration as well. Generally cheap perfume is less concentrated and as a result lasts less time

It does stay on you but you can't smell it since your pores catch the perfume particles and your nose just gets use to the smell...same reason why you are able to smell someone else's....you haven't been around too long, they your nose notices the smell...but do a test and you'll see...as someone else if they can smell their own perfume after a while and you'll see they get the same results as you.....

I bet if you drink it, it will come out of your pores later on in the day, but side-effects might be death.

You might also not notice the smell is still there because you've been wearing it, but you could also carry some around in a little non-breakable bottle and spritz some when you feel the need.

Try placing petrolium jelly or vaseline in the places you spray your perfume. The oil helps hold the smell. Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!!

sometimes the acidy of your body either makes the scent smell bad or not ,last long.. to get a great smell all day long give your outfit a spray... or spray your hairbrush and brush your hair... it works really well
