While I doubt that there is a "Parkinson's Disease for Idiots" in print, your local hospital should have some materials, and I imagine that there is a national foundation that can provide additional info. There is probably some local chapter which has some get-to-gethers to swap info and take some time out from nursing.

There is no "answer", as there is no "cure". You will just have to be understanding and loving. You also have to take care of yourself, since the care of Parkinson's Diseased persons does take alot out of you. This includes some "time off", and you would want to arrange this.

Keep well and may God bless.

If a person is treated for the disease and it turns out to have been a small stroke the results can be desastrous. it is necessary to determine that its its really parkinson"s disease. An MRI would most likely tell the story.
Caring for an invalid is a very demanding job.You just have to bear with it.Life is not easy.Usually Friends and church Groups would help you.Otherwise you have to hire a professional to do the job.

patience, compassion, understanding. Parkinsons is a very debilitating and progressive disease. I understand it is very difficult to watch someone you love going downhill, but just stick with him/her. They need to know that you won't give up on them.
