without sounding childish. First off, how can you tell if you truly love someone or if they truly love you. I mean if the sexual aspect is over for years, but both you and the person still keep in constant contact without any mention of sex, is that love or just the fact that the two of you had a history? CONFUSING?

I would say it is truly love, but what do I know. I would like to believe that a couple can have a non-sexual relationship without involving sex. If it last longer then the sex I am sure that love has something to do with it.

You can love someone without having a passion for them. You can consider someone your best friend and love them like no other and that would be a totally different thing then wanting intimacy and passion with someone.

I think its because you have a history, you've remained friends , you too will probably always have a "love' for each other, its just a different love, be happy, you have a friend for life
