well when you love somebody your suppose to be there for them 100%.but it depends on how long and how deep is your relationship with this someone.i will be there for my bf if he needs me.as far as money is concern there are many grounds on how you support them.if they just lost a job or they just need to loans some money.i would base it on the seriousness of the relationship.and sometimes people take advantage.when they know they can lean on you for everything specially money.that would be it.a relationship it suppose to be compromise from both party.you cannot be the only one doing everything.

I liked that question, and Chris makes some good points.
You must decide when, how much and at what point do you close the bank and tell them to swim or sink.
But it brings to my mind the "enablers" if you will, I think about so many people I have know that actually try to buy your love or affection.
The parent or person that showers another with gifts, lending money, hoping to buy that persons affection and loyalty.
Too many toys, gadgets, jewelry, and the one person keeps taking.........thanks

depends if you are male or female.
Women would find it unatural to be out of pocket in a relationship.
Men are different and expect to be out of pocket because that is how nature intended.
It is all about rearing children
