Two men die in rural Queensland
A man has died after being stabbed during a dispute around a campfire while another man was found shot dead in his car in separate murders in rural Queensland.
A 21-year-old man was fatally wounded after a fight broke out among a group of men who were gathered around a campfire at the Kingaroy showgrounds, about 200km north west of Brisbane, about 10.30pm (AEST) on Thursday.
The man, from Hemmant in Brisbane's east, was stabbed a number of times in the chest.
He was taken to Kingaroy Hospital but died a short time later.
A 31-year-old man from Mermaid Beach, on the Gold Coast, has been charged with his murder.
A police spokeswoman said the 100th annual Kingaroy Show was on this weekend and there was "quite a bit of activity" within the showgrounds preparing for the event.
In the other incident, a 38-year-old man was shot dead on a property at Tara, about 180km west of Toowoomba, sparking a major murder investigation.
Officers responded to a triple-0 call about 11pm (AEST) on Thursday and attended the property where the man's body was found in a car.
A police spokeswoman said a "number" of people were being interviewed in the nearby Lockyer Valley and Laidley regions.

Everyday. Domestic mainly.
The other day a man stabbed his 23 yr old wife to death then went to have a go a police officer and they shot him twice!
And a elderly lady was in a domestic with her husband and "accidently" dragged him under her car and it killed him!!
A lot of people go missing everyday in Australia and who knows if they are murdered or just disappear!!
It really makes my blood boil that people can take anothers life in their own hands!!

Of course there have been!
Two 15 year old girls killed their friend and buried her under an old house in a tiny country town recently. They said the don't care they were caught and that they thought it would be fun to kill their mate after going out to a party with her the night before. The said the were emo's (emotional punks or something) and that they had been planning it for a while...to see if they felt anything from killing their friend...and found they didn't! Little sicko's.
Also in my area a domestic got bad recently and the woman ran her husband over and dragged him about 300 metres down the street. NICE!

Yeah, but nothing you would probably hear internationally.
There have been a few domestics involving elderly people knocking off their husband / wife.
