find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Yes, you are. But you already know that. The question should be "What can I do about it?" If you need counselling to help you get starting on a weight plan, ask your parents to find a counsellor for you. To be that much overweight at your age, is to severely limit yourself - not just in the activities you should be able to enjoy, but also in such things as job opportunities. You probably already know that there are severe health problems resulting from that much extra weight -- joint problems, heart problems, respiratory problems etc. Now would be a great time to get started on your new program.
good luck!

looks like your BMI is about 30...which is considered as obese, not overweight. What you need to do is make a change to your eating habits. Perhaps consider a daily routine of 30-60 minutes exercise and a weight management plan that works best for you. Whatever it is, you need to shed some pounds to gain some more years in later life.

Go to a nutritionist and a physical therapist to determine your body muscle/fat ratio. Then, if you're not happy with yourself, get motivated to BE the change you want to see in yourself! I've dealt with weight problems all of my life, it's a hardship that no one should have to deal with! Especially the way the public depicts people, if they've never had a weight issue before then they're more likely to make fun of an overweight person!!!! People mock and fear what they do not understand! Best of luck to you sweetie! Take care!

Are you a boy or girl that ,matters a lot. You should check some health website like this: //www.halls.md/chart/height-weight.htm.
Then click your gender and ___BMI chart of ______ Body Mass Index for Age. ( ________=your gender). Then on the top right hand corner it says "Calculate your own Body mass index result here" click that. Next, put in your height and weight and click calculate. Then, write in your age and gender in the next chart and click calculate. Last, you look at the body description, (if you're average etc.) your percentile, and you read, this: (compare).

If at 50th percentile, you are close to average weight. At 90th percentile, your weight is greater than 90% of others. At 20th percentile, then 80% of others weigh more than you.

I hate to tell you this but your height and weight give you a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 33.95, which is classed as 'obese'. A BMI of between 18 & 25 is 'healthy'.
For your height, you would need to lose 56lbs to have a BMI of 24.9 - just within the 'healthy' range.
As losing weight is best done slowly (say 2/3lbs per week max) you need to plan a sensible diet and exercise regime over the next 5 - 7 months, if you wish to lose weight.

Do you look severely overweight?
No one can judge that based only on your height and weight, muscle weighs more than fat.

heck no as long as you feel good and feel good about your self you should not feel like you are overweight because at one time in my life I was the same age and heavy set but I said to my self at least I'm healthy and not belemic or anorexic.
