It's Saturday, all you would be able to check is scheduled weddings if that was in the paper. If they were eloping I don't think it would be in the paper. Unless there was a Vegas style chapel there that might let you know if you missed the ceremony there is no way to find that information out until Tuesday at the earliest since Monday is a holiday. Hopefully your son will contact you soon without a new daughter in law in tow.

Even with a scheduled wedding you would have to wait 10 days for it to be processed before a copy can be given. Usually the justice of the peace mails it in which won't go out til Monday. If you thought he got married this past Saturday, the mail didn't run until Tues. Then 10 business days after that would be June 11. Hopefully you will have heard from your son by then though.

Also then you'd still have to know which county it would be registered in to check.

Even then, I'm not sure it would be up in the public records info by then.

You have every right to be concerned--and even furious that he would run off without even allowing his parents to be at the wedding. But he is a grown adult and you do have have faith in how you raised him. Any decisions he makes are his to make.

All you can do is call his cell phone and see if he answers. However--even if he did, he had the right to make that decision and yelling at him will not change the fact that he is a legal husband (if he did it).

There is no way. You would have to check each individual county, and they still have to process the applications and forms and whatnot. But if your son is 20, he's a big boy now, and you should just hope his relationship with you is strong enough that he'll come to you and tell you what's going on. Just remember, if he comes home with a brand new daughter in law for you, don't let them move back in! Lol. That way lies trouble.

Just ask him, he is an adult now and whether he did or did not ....right now doesn't even matter. Either call himm or wait on him to call you, but find out first.
