I only know this. The night before you make the ribs,soak them overnight in Vernors Ginger Ale. You wont believe how good they are.

No matter what you cook you want it DONE. I always par boil my ribs and chicken. I boil ribs for about 10-15 min. Then I put them on a grill at low heat and let the BBQ sauce soak in but not burn. If you don't par boil them the meat is bloody at the bone.

Place ribs in large pot , cover with cold water, bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, simmer 20min, drain.
Cut ribs into 2 rib pieces each sections.. place into plastic ziplock bag or tray. Pour bbq chicken and rib sauce over ribs. Store in fridge to marinate the meat.
When ready to grill, heat the grill to med heat. grill ribs 10min until bbq sets thickly serves 8

prep them over night, in some vinger and put them on the grill and slow cook them for 30-45 minutes, turn the ribs about 7-10mins, when the ribs10-15mins from removing from grill, apply the BBQ sauce, don't apply during slow cook time, they'll just burn... and the same goes with the chicken, i think

The Vernor's sounds like a winner...

We like to marinate (soak) chicken in Italian salad dressing overnight in the fridge, then throw it on the grill...
