Who ever said that there were Iraqi terrorists involved with 9/11?
Basically, there are several reasons for the Iraq war. The direct reason is that after the Gulf War, Saddam signed a treaty that included regular UN Weapons Inspections. When Saddam denied inspections, this gave the US a reason to invade. Whether they had weapons or not, they should have allowed inspections, or peace treaties mean nothing if not upheld.
Secondly, the biggest reason was to establish a democracy in the middle east. It was believed that if a democracy could be established, and the fundamental regimes in the middle east were toppled, higher education could occur and terrorism would subside.
Right now, it's far too early to tell if that can be accomplished. This war may end up doing good or bad, only time will tell.

No, the President never said that 9/11 was the sole reason for going to war in Iraq. That's where the terrorists are so that's where we go. It's probably not the last place we'll take this fight, it just happens to be the first.
The same people who believe the garbage the liberal media spews in 10 second sound bytes about "Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, Why are we there?" are the same people who still believe the U.S. Civil War was about slavery!
Read, pay attention to the details, take in the facts not the opinions and for goodness sake don't base your opinion on someone else's opinion!

Most of the terrorists were of Saudi citizenship, but we didn't attack Saudi Arabia, did we? The issue is that they were not harbored by Saudi Arabia. There was significant intelligence that showed many of the terrorists were being harbored in Iraq, not necessiarially at Saddam Huseins orders, but he most likely knew about it and did not prevent them from entering his country. There was also significant intelligence that the Taliban, which was in control of Afghanistan at the time was harboring terrorists.
Now, regardless of how the information ended up, it was the available intelligence at the time, and the same intelligence Bill Clinton used when he had the Air Force drop a cruise missile on a supposed chemical plant in Afghanistan in 1998. (which ended up being an asprin factory).
Iraq did not have any DIRECT connection to 9-11 but Afghanistans Taliban leadership did by directly harboring the terrorists, thats why Afghanistan was attacked first. In Iraq, they were harbored by groups within the country.
Now, remember what President Bush said in his speech after the attack, "We will find you, no matter where you are, no matter what country you are in. WE WILL FIND YOU!"
Thats why we went into Iraq.
President Bush DID NOT LIE TO US ABOUT IRAQ. HE WAS USING THE AVAILABLE INTELLIGENCE HE HAD AVAILABLE TO HIM AT THE TIME. Please remember that Congress, the US House of Representatives and the US Senate SEES THAT SAME INFORMATION, AND THEY KNEW EXACTLY THE SAME THING PRESIDENT BUSH KNEW, AND KNEW IT EXACTLY THE SAME TIME HE KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The weasel Democ(cough excuse me)rats are trying to make the rest of us believe they were tricked by President Bush into voting for the war, but THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE VOTING FOR AND WERE NOT MISLED BY ANYONE OR ANYTHING EXCEPT THE INTELLIGENCE JUST LIKE PRESIDENT BUSH WAS.

OK just run it into the ground. For the record, i agree, you are right on the fact that non where from Iraq, but, Iraq did fund terrorist, a well known terrorist was captured when Iraq was invaded, and Sadam was killing 1000's of innocents. So lets get it straight, because we went in for the wrong reason, we should have let him stay in power....and Kill innocents because we should mind our own business. With that thinking, are you the type to witness a rape or murder and just look the other way, saying it isn't my business? YES we went for the wrong reason, but, we did the RIGHT thing.
Find another topic to cry about.

to no longer pontificate to the choir, yet your description does fantastically plenty nail Guilliani. He seems to be pushed to apply 9/eleven as his platform. He promises it as an occasion of his "management". What Guilliani and his supporters fail to entice close is that the 9/eleven tragedy got here approximately on his watch. Many firefighters and police died that day because of the fact of unfavorable verbal substitute, which for one situation is an area of the administration of a great city like enormous apple. on the federal point, verbal substitute issues have been superb in hampering a reaction to the activities of the day. the present President replaced into to blame for the administration of the federal government and his present day Secretary of State replaced into to blame for national risk-free practices on the time. 9/eleven isn't a proud 2nd for absolutely everyone in fee on the time.

We still don't know that for a fact. They had time to move weapons out of Iraq before we came in. If they are so innocent why are they putting up such a fight? Why can't they be civil and behave? There is danger in turning your back on an uncivilized nation. I want our troops to come home too, but this is ridiculous.

There were no Germans involved in the attack on Pearl Harbor. Why did we go to war with Germany?
Just because somebody wasn't involved in a single, specific attack.. doesn't change what they are.
