find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

At your current weight, I would guess that if you did a food diary you are probably eating a good 4,500 per day, if you were totally 100% honest! I don't think REALLY reducing your calories is right, not at first. If you could get DOWN to 3,500 calories per day for now-- that would get you going. When you loose about 15 lbs, you will need to go down further. But don't send yourself into shock.

Go on Weight Watcher's website and check on the at home and/or on-line program. Attending meetings is not required and worrying about fat grams and calories aren't either. For me, using the point system and portion control method, I lost 20 pounds in about 4 months. Also, for cardio...the elliptical trainer machine is a really good too. I think better than the treadmill. Good Luck!

The normal calorie intake is between 2000 to 2500 cals a day. If you want to lose weight(not that you need to) you should be eating about 1500 to 2000 cals per day plus exercise.
