Condolences, May God Replace him with the best and inspires you and your family Patience and happiness...
Your Brother is in heaven.. 22 years old means he's still in - According to Quran - Probation period.. God Says:
" And We have commended unto man kindness toward parents. His mother beareth him with reluctance, and bringeth him forth with reluctance, and the bearing of him and the weaning of him is thirty months, till, when he attaineth full strength and reacheth forty years, he saith: My Lord! Arouse me that I may give thanks for the favour wherewith Thou hast favoured me and my parents, and that I may do right acceptable unto Thee. And be gracious unto me in the matter of my seed. Lo! I have turned unto Thee repentant, and lo! I am of those who surrender (unto Thee). " 46. al-Ahqaf: The Sandhills حتى اذا بلغ اشده وبلغ اربعين سنة قال رب اوزعني ان اشكر نعمتك التي انعمت علي وعلى والدي وان اعمل صالحا ترضاه واصلح لي في ذريتي اني تبت اليك واني من المسلمين .
سورة الأحقاف - سورة 46 - آية 15
He's in Heavens InshAllah... you can never tell what's the reason for some things, The Greatest wise being ruling the world is more knowledgable...
It's a Myth.. That everyone will go to heaven.. This means you, me, babies, will be with murderers, rapists, genociders, who believed in Salvation. Unfortenately there's this myth also in Islam under the name: "Shafa'aa" (Mediation), which means that any poor man whol lived in good all his life, will go to heaven together with mass murderers because the Prophet will mediate for them..
Your Brother didn't enjoy life.. God chose him to his side.. This means he must be rewarded for leaving life so early. Pray for him.. Give charity - if you can - for his soul.. "Take alms of their wealth, wherewith thou mayst purify them and mayst make them grow, and pray for them. Lo! thy prayer is an assuagement for them. Allah is Hearer, Knower." Sura 9/103... And abandon sadness, Keep it in your heart.. He's with better company now.. Never hungry, tired or sad.. He is with his Maker, so applaud this moment... Wearing black is an innovation on islam.. It's not right.. Prophet and His companions used to wear white for the late; as he is meeting Allah.. I envy your brother....
Be supportive to your family and mom now, they've only you, take care of them, pray alot for your brother, God Bless you all...

Wow. That must've been really hard for you- I have a younger brother who was born when I was almost 13, and I love him like a mother, so I can't even imagine what you've gone through.
I'm a believer in Christ, and the Bible teaches that when another believer dies, you will see them again in heaven someday. This really helped me when my grandfather died- of course, it didn't take the pain away, but knowing that I'll see my "Pop Bob" again helps. It also helps so INCREDIBLY much to know that I will always have my best friend, Jesus, there for me. He will never leave me or forsake me, and I can always know that He is for me (Jeremiah 29:11) and has my best in His heart for me.
As far as your question about rewards, patience is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and, yes, I believe that God does bless those who are doing His will.
Also, I have not seen that there is any difference between those who die young or those of old age...except that one should always be ready, young or old, to give an account for his life to his Creator.
I hope this helps you. God Bless!

Well I am sorry to hear that your brother died, and at such a young age.
When my Dad died, I was not worried or upset. As soon as he discovered he had cancer he said "I'm 87, it's time to go, I'm not going to fight this", so he had hospice care and he died peacefully, because we all knew that he had a good relationship with Jesus Christ.
Christianity is different from Islam, because we understand that Jesus was not just a prophet or a great teacher. Jesus was what He said He was, The Son of God. The Son of God who was born of the Virgin Mary, lived amongst us, was cruxified, died, was burried and on the third day rose again.
This is important because since Jesus was both fully God and fully human, it is possible for a Christian to have a PERSONAL relationship with Him. Christians experience God, and relate to God, in a very different way from other religions. God is not just the Creator of the Universe, He is also Jesus of Nazareth, who knows what it is like to be hungry, to be cold, to be sad. Jesus knows how it feels to stub your toe, and he knows how great it is to wake up in the morning and see a beautiful sunrise, and he knows how happy you feel after a really good meal with your friends, and how great it is to come into a warm house with a big fire on a cold winter morning, and how great it is to get a big hug from your Mom when you are four. Jesus isn't just the Christian's God, He is also a Christian's friend.
So Christian's don't approach God in terms of "prizes" or things God will repay. God does not grade us, or even count our sins. God does not care how you die, or when you die.
A Christian can NOT, can NOT "earn" salvation. Salvation comes through Jesus, and it is a gift from Jesus. We can not EARN it... that would put us in the position of us giving orders to God! We would be saying "God, you have to give me this, I earned it, it is mine!" The thought is simply silly.
God created the entire UNIVERSE, so there is nothing God needs, and nothing we can "do" for Him, and no way for US to force God to do anythng. How could we tell the God that created the moon and the stars that we "earned" salvation and He had darn well better pay up?
A Christian's faith therefore rests in the assurance that our close personal friend Jesus Christ loves us. He loves us enough that he came to Earth and died for us... and there is no greater love than to lay down ones life for one's friends.
My Dad knew Jesus, and he (and I ) have every confidence in Jesus. In Christianity it does not matter how you die, or when you die. The only thing that matters is if you know Jesus or not.
So it really is true...in the end it is all about who you know.

The reality is deeper than religions or lack thereof. Would you accept the answer to your question if it didn't fit in with what you believe? If so, he may have chosen to leave this earth early before he was even born. He may be staying around for a while to observe his loved ones before moving on. He may take another incarnation if his soul agenda wasn't finished. He is already in heaven. There is no hell. We are here, on earth, in human form, having a learning experience. We all came from heaven and return, no matter how long it takes. Death should be thought of as a transition, not THE END. This would alleviate much un-necessary grief for us here. Truth is in the soul, not the books of man.

I can try at least to give you answers from the point of view of an atheist and a christian (seing as i'm struggling between the two myself)
Christian : You will see your brother in heaven ( there is no shallah since all religions are fake except christianity)
Atheist : You won't ever see him again because he's dead .
I'm sorry for your loss it's sad that the smallest accidents do more damage then anything else...

Sorry for your loss. I lost my two nieces a couple years ago. They were run over on their way to catch the schoolbus by a man that wasn't paying attention to where he was going. It's hard, to say the least. We were very close, and the gap that they left in our lives and in our hearts was so big. Only my faith in the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ filled that gap. I do not know whether or not they were saved, as I myself was not at the time. I like to think that they were. I pray that they were. Only Christ knows for sure.
I would not know how to tell you to deal with it, as Islam does not accept Christ as the Son of God, or as the messiah, but only a prophet.
I do not wish to sound mean, or rude, but where he stood with God is what is going to determine what happens to him when the day of the Lord comes.
Christianity teaches that unless you are born again of the spirit, and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and believe that he died for your sins, and was resurrected and ascended into heaven, you will not enter the kingdom of God.
Since Islam rejects the Son of God, and that is what you follow, I do not know how to help you, short of telling you to accept Christ. Perhaps you should ask a muslim, if that answer is not what you want to hear. Sorry once again for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss.I lost my whole family before I was 15.I asked the same questions, and the answer I came up with was, God plays no part in the selection of who goes or stays. Because if he did then I feel he would take the old and let the young live full life's.But that's not the way it works. The ones left behind keep the departed in our memory's until its our time to join them. And the world goes on. No one said it was fair.

You have my deepest condolences. I'm Jewish and we have no more answers for the loss of young life than do other religions. All I can tell you is that Judaism believes that if you are a good person then you have a place in the World to Come. I'm sure he is there, as you have described him, and it sounds like, from your description of yourself, that you will be seeing him again one day. May G-d send peace to all who mourn and comfort all who are bereaved.

Salaam sister,
I am so so sorry to hear about ur loss.
Indeed Allah is with those who are patient. Perseverance and fortitude are the qualities which are liked by Allah.
Be conscious of death at all times and strive on Imaan and on the right path. If we die in this condition, we will meet our beloved Allah and other dear ones. Your brother is beloved to you. Send reward for him in the form of doing good deeds, reciting the Qur’aan, giving charity and sponsoring students of Deen. Insha Allah, your brother will get the reward and benefit tremendously.
May Allah Ta’ala grant you Sabr and reward your brother abundantly.

Long question, I will try to keep the answer brief, but please do bear with me. I am agnostic. Reality is that there is no OBJECTIVE proof that ANY "god" does or does not exist. That settles the question of "knowledge". Atheism and all religions are matters of "belief", which is purely subjective. When you build your worldview around subjective beliefs, be they political, religious, philosophical, whatever, then any rival belief could potentially threaten your entire worldview and sense of self and for some people, they cannot accept that others do not share their exact same worldview. It means theirs might just be "wrong", the idea that "different" is NOT a question of right and wrong, it is just a question of a different worldview does not seem to fit into their concept of a "black/white, true/false only" world. My neighbors are a non-attending Methodist and a "lapsed" Catholic. My girlfriend is Christian but she only goes to church because I do (the church is my community/family, they accept that I do not do dogma). I have known Jews, Muslims, one gentleman I worked with on Tuesday's election is a Deist leaning towards agnosticism (and, as an agnostic, I sorta lean towards the idea of a Self-conscious Universe). If we truly faced reality, however, the fact that we all have different beliefs/worldviews does not affect the fact that I like these people and that their worldview does not make mine "wrong" any more than I think what I believe makes their worldview "wrong". Live your life in love and respect for your fellow mankind and the afterlife, if any, will take care of itself. Blessings on your Journey!

The Christians also believe that they will see their loved ones in Heaven, where the Christian God resides.
The Wiccans believe in the Summerland, where their loved ones wait for a while, after they pass on, to be reincarnated and live again.
