I think it's a great idea, it will show just how many people really are touchy about that sort of thing...this will show that they know what is true but choose to refuse it...Christian scientists DO use science to discover facts about the Bible...Evolution scientists throw some theory together and try to prove it by combining two totally different things to make one object and saying that it's scientific evidence...when really if you examined some of the work they did you would find that most of it is false, but when examining the creationists' facts, you'll find that most of all of it is true scientific fact...Noah's Ark for example...On Mount. Ararat various people have seen a large object that seems to be made of wood on the mountain at certain times in the year...another fact is, they have found fish bones/fossils up on some of the tallest mountains, how else would they get there if not for a world wide flood that covered the entire world? Scientists have also found dinosaur fossils that still have the DNA that hasn't been destroyed...proving that dinosaurs didn't live as long a go as they thought....so opening a creationist museum is a great way of questioning people faith...

Heard approximately it at the information. There is one in Glen Rose Texas been there two times, its been there a few years and is increasing, its small. For the ones of you who maintain arguing approximately the dinosaurs, due to the fact they(scientists) declare they may be able to be no more youthful than sixty five million years ancient, how is it you get all this confusion?Since (scientists) can not prefer how ancient the human race is.Its definitely NOT sixty five million years ancient. Its useful math and also you can not make it paintings that manner for that reason all of the debate. Now creationists placed forth the speculation, dinosaurs have been right here first, then have been destroyed, for that reason making the void recounted within the bible,in which used to be no lifestyles. There have been no dinosaurs on Norah's Ark,they now not existed. Now the quandary is,that is now not real one hundred% for the reason that their is proof of a few dinosaurs residing alongside part mankind. The different quandary is that if certainly dinosaurs did are living sixty five million years in the past, how is it we now have ANY proof in any respect? But we do,we now have fossils and someplace any person is flawed. The quandary is learn how to get the time line in step with what might of occurred with the proof we do have.No one has performed that but. Thanks in your query.

It teaches children fairy tales and not real science. I'm sorry but science has documented the age of the earth. To say the devil is deceiving us on the age is just plain ludicrous. No wonder America is falling behind in science. A scientific theory is different then just a theory. We have proof not just mumbo jumbo from a book.

Not all religious people are stupid, but some are. Some atheists are also stupid.
If creationists are not stupid, then they are just too stubborn to listen to reason. And when, through either their ignorance or evil intentions, they decide to spread their irrational beliefs, the result is gross negligence and fraud. The "museum" contains misleading (if not just plain false) information intended to make people believe that the bible is a real depiction of history. What is the purpose of the museum? Education, or rationalization?
Evolution is a fact. It really happened and still does. Anyone who doubts that is willfully ignorant and should not be allowed to be near children.

They really aren't theories. At best it is a hypothesis. When you say it is theory, you are trying to put it on the same level as a "scientific theory".
In science for something to be a "theory" it has to be a tested hypothesis, and pass the scrutiny of other scientist. Creation hasn't, and can't meet that burden.
When I say hypothesis, I should have said failed hypothesis. A hypothesis fails, if ANY evidence to the contrary is found. Even if you think radiometric (NOT) and carbon dating (SMALL MARGIN OF ERROR) are inaccurate. They could have an error rate of greater than 75% and still have "creation hypothesis" fail. by more than a million years.

At least they admit why they are getting so much criticism from all sides - they have taken everything literally including the stories at the beginning of the Bible that are representative of the church from the beginning of creation until Abraham's time.

How delusional are you to believe anything in that musuem is "theory"? It's complete nonsense -- dinosaurs and people did not live side by side. Noah's ark is a myth.
If you want a real musuem experience, go to a natural history museum or an art museum.

That its completely idiotic and isn't a museum at all but a desperate effort to legitimize Intelligent Design. I think it says that logic and science are finally winning that the religious would be that desperate.

This museum is contrary to my way of thinking, but they have as much right to express their views as all other Americans.
Are they forcing anybody to buy tickets and view their exhibit?
I am appalled by the calls for censorship. You argue ideas with ideas not by shutting people down or shouting them down.

Father Guido was right when he said they advanced the cause of making the U.S. the laughingstock of the world.
It's so unbelievably pathetic I literally want to cry thinking about how people want to ENCOURAGE stupidity.
