My tires currently have 4 lug nuts. I want to know if they can be converted to 5 lug nuts?

I'm sorry but I don't understand why you would want to do this. I imagine you must be thinking of putting a V-6 & turbo in it, to even need a five lug pattern.
Maybe you want a certain kind of rim for your car and it seems to only come in a five lug pattern. You could try adapters, but I have heard some horror stories on those because they change the geomety of the vehicle, then start tearing up tires left and right. I realize you might be able to get an alignment to compensate for the added tire setback, width, and diameter, but you also run the risk of breaking component on your vehicle, such as can your transmission handle the larger load?

Why would you want different wheels on a 9 year old car? Adapters can make suapension problems worse. And adding 20 more bolts on top of the 16 that are alredy there. u b stylin' with somethin better!
