Poor kitty! Looks like someone was trying to kill him! You did a good deed by rescuing that kitten.
I would take the kitty to the vet if I were you. If you don't want to keep it, they could tell you a nice shelter to take it to. If you do want to keep it they could give it a checkup to make sure it's healthy. They could also tell you want to feed it.
Usually the best food for a kitten is dry kitten food. Make sure it says 'kitten' on it beacuse it's made special for the little ones.
Also make sure that the kitten has clean water available all the time and a warm place to sleep. I would keep him away from your other cat for now. Give him a few days to eat, calm down, and get used to being in your house.

First you should probably take it to the vet and they will tell you what to do. 8 to 12 weeks is when you could give them away so it shouldn't need its mothers milk any more. I feed my kittens Puriena kitten chow and you may have to add a little bit of water to soften it for it, thats what I had to do with my kitties. Of course it will need water so just give it a bowl of water. But if its meow sounds weird take it to a vet some thing could be wrong with it. Oh and I learned that you aren't supposed to give kittens under 6 months flea baths so don't give it a flea bath instead theres this medicine stuff I haven't used it but I have been told it works well and you feed it the medicine and comb the fleas out. Good luck and I hope your new kitty is healthy and ok. Also if your going to let it out side make sure it comes back at night because things could attack it i lost 3 cats that way but one we found under my house and it would go inside the other I had for about a year and it didn't come back I was so sad, then the other I had for about 13 years and so I don't know if he just died of oldness or not and also get it fixed because male cats spray and it stinks and females get pregnant and I am not sure if its true but I read on the internet that if a cat gets pregnant too much it could get ovarian cancer or something.

Wow. Sometimes I really think there IS a god.
You're so kind-hearted to take in this innocent baby; I'm so glad it was you who found her, and I hope you can keep her. How the person who did this can sleep at night is beyond me.
First of all Hon, try moistioning some of your older cat's dry food and see if the baby will eat it. (If you have canned cat food, even better.) If she doesn't seem capable of eating solid foods yet, you can purchase a kitten-sized bottle, and Kitten Milk Replacer (KMR) at a local pet store. Be prepared to feed baby every four hours or so.
She's crying because she's terrified; that will pass when she realizes that you're her new "Mama". I agree with those who say to have her checked by a vet as soon as possible. Your older cat may take to the baby, but then again she may not....and it's best not to expose her to any possible disease.
A nice box with soft blankets and a hot-water bottle is the best place to keep her safe for now. Also you'll want to provide her with a tiny litter box; any small box will do, as long as she can crawl over the side of it. You'll want to take her little paws and make scratching motions with them in the litter, so she'll get the idea.
I think the best place for her is in a bedroom, doors closed, to keep the curious puppy from frightening her.
If you absolutely don't feel capable of caring for her Hon, call your local PetSmart or other local pet supply store; they'll be able to give you the names of volunteer groups who are well-equipped to handle this sort of thing. I wish you all the best, and bless you for rescuing that baby. Please let us know how this turns out!

If you let her go chances are she will end up dead. If you can give her a good home and are wiling to take the time, you should definetly keep her. Depending on her age, she will either eat a kitten formula (basically the substance of milk), you can find it on the pet aisle of most pet stores. If he/she looks old enough to handle cat food then try getting wet cat food and see if she will eat that. Make sure she gets plenty of water as well, being shut in a bag could have dehydrated her severely. If you are not able to spend the time and money on her that she may require donate her to an animal hospital or a shop that sells kittens and dogs, they will know what to do. Good Luck!

Go to any pet food store. They have a milk like product for still-nursing kittens. My aunt used it with great results. If it is still a newborn, take a box and place a heating pad on the bottom. Place a towel on top and put the kitten in it. Then place a towel over the box (not on the kitten) to trap the heat. If it is not a newborn, then show it a lot of love. We have rescued many abandoned kittens and eventually they learn that you are not the bad guy.

If you would like, either go to the pet store and get some mothers milk and a bottle and see if it will feed on that. If not, you can get kitten food and let it sit in warm water to moisten it. If the kitten doens't eat either one of these I would recommend taking it to the vet and asking them. If you are going to keep it you still need to take it to the vet to have it checked out and started on shots.

Everyone on her has given good advice about feeding. NO ONE on her has told you that this kitten cannot go to the bathroom by itself. You have to help it every time you feed it or it will die. Take a warm wet washcloth and wipe from the
center of belly to butt until all waste is out. Be extra careful of urine. They can die very quickly it all of the urine is not out. Please, it this is too much, take it to someone who will do these things for it. This kitten only has about 24 hours until death. If it has that long, not knowing how long it was in the trash.

that is so sad that someone could put a cat in the bin.
try and get you cat to mother it. but in the mean time, you will have to buy kitten milk, and some kitten dry food. always pat it and love it. that is if you really want to keep it.
dont let the dmake sure it has a warm bed. dont let the dogs scare it. dont hurt it in anyway. my dog use to always scare the kitten know its grown to be a ashole of a cat. attacks me every time i walk past it! :(
so if you dont want it, ask the pound if they know anyone who would like a kitten for free.
if not just put an ad in the newspaper.
good luck.

Due to the fact it could have feline leukemia or something like that keep it away from your other cat! Take to the vet, the pet store has kitten formula and bottles, just like a baby it will have to be fed every few hours.

Go to the vet and give it a check up.There u can ask what 2 feed it and all. Ask how to take care of it, ect. So then after a while you can take care of the kitten as you do w/ your older 1.
