Says in the Bible, which I'm told is the Word of God, that the two daughters of Lot were impregnated by their daddy in a cave. Would their kids have been Lot's children or his grandchildren? And were their surnames Lot? It is said nowadays that such close family incest is apt to make a baby in some way disabled. Were these kids disabled? Retarded, perhaps, by the Devil do you think? Is it possible, or even likely, that Trent Lott is a descendent? (To those who are from countries other than the US, Trent Lott is an especially odious rightwing wacko racist member of the United States Senate, from Mississippi.)

cool you actually read the bible if you ask these types of questions from some pastors/preachers they probally want smack you and while i dont have any answers to those questions...I do have something to add that i think is way more interesting. The descendents from that incest relationship went on to form the Edom and Moab tribes. Which if i read scripture correctly and if someone want to show where im in error please do but if not then the reason that this is interesting is these are the two geographical areas where the Anti-Christ will not attack for whatever reason they escape.

the myths about incest are just that...myths...the ruling elite of the world have been keeping it in the family and interbreeding with each other for 1000's of years. The time of Lot in the bible was a time of some heinous, outlandish, satanic behaviour, it's impossible for us to judge the situation!

You're correct.
Lot got drunk, and his two daughters slept with him. (They were wrong, but their Dad put himself in a vulnerable position.) The resultant offspring were named Moab, and Ammon. They were not handicapped.
Later Bible stories reveal the Moabites and the Ammonites to be troublesome to their cousins, the children of Abraham.
But redemption is always possible:
Ruth was a Moabite who married Boaz, and became the great-grandmother to King David. So, the bloodline of Jesus includes a Moabite woman.
And, though distasteful to us, there were no laws written yet that prohibited incestuous relationships, though it was not a socially favored bond.

incest was sin back then too. them daughter witness great cities of destruction of sodom and ghmoraa..and they thought..the world was coming to an end.and stupidly got dad drunk..and got pregnant..(the society they come out of..of thta perverted cities..is the why such stupdity)
and do remember this..DNA had less curses on them..then our generation...remember when dogs are cross breed too much? you get diseased dogs.
