Isn't just the opposite of selfish?

How much will anyone sacrifice for anyone else?

Even though Jesus was brought back from the dead, think of the heartache that his Father had to endure. And the reproach upon His Son for being hanged as a criminal.

That reproach is still there today. It comes out on this site daily.

No not angry at God, angry at those who show no appreciation.

Oh ye of no understanding; the bad guys killed Jesus.
The question is: Why isn't God angry at mankind for killing His son?

I'm extremely glad God gave up his son. Jesus was the ultamate sacrifice. He dide so that we would not be seperated from him any more. Now I'm not saying that everyone is going to heaven. You don't go to heaven because of your deeds, you can only go to heaven if you've excepted his son and if you understand that Jesus died for our sins. I would suggets reading the new testiment. Read Matthew 26:36-50

We shouldn't be angry. We're happy, because we can now live with God AND Jesus in Heaven one day. GOD didnt kill His Son, everyone else did. But this was God's plan so Jesus could take our punishment for us.

The Father sacrificed His Son for my sins. He didn't kill him. Jesus died for me, so that I can go to Heaven and live with God for all eternity. God didn't have a son. God IS The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father is not the Son, The Son is not the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit isn't the Father. They are ALL God. God sacrificed his human form for the sins of mankind.

God, the Father, didn't kill His Son. I killed Jesus. (All of us who are sinners and accept Jesus's sacrifice did!) God allowed His Son to be the sacrifice because they love us so much and wanted to give us a chance to be redeemed. "The wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23

God didn't kill His son, this was all God's plan. You must be unlearned and if you want to know more of God, then you might consider on studying the Words of God.

Because without the shedding of blood, there would be no forgiveness of sins. We would all spend eternity in hell separated from him. God is Holy and cannot allow sin into his presence. From the beginning of time, God knew that we would sin, and that we would need a redeemer. He knew that Jesus would be the only one that would be able to redeem us from our sins, and make us right with him.

God didnt kill Jesus. Jesus is still alive, he died but went back to heaven to be with his dad Jehovah God. It was Jesus´ own decision to come here to earth and die for all of us, to die to the forgiveness of our sins.

Because without Jesus dying, I would have no hope for a better future, I wouldn't be able to pray and have my sins forgiven, nor could I have any of the other wonderful blessings that come from the ransom. God didn't enjoy watching his son die, but He knew (and Jesus knew, too) that it had to be done in order to redeem mankind from the sin and death that Adam spread to us.
