Hi there, I am a student, but I always have a problem for studying. Just like, people have read 10 pages , but I'm still on the 5th page. My mates have understood the equation, but I'm totally off the board.

Now I'm studying in mechanical engineering and I'm in a puzzle as to how to cope with this problem. My friends said, I can read quickly and only try to catch the point, but for me I also need to spend time finding out the point.

could anyone do me a favor to tell me how to read or study quickly and also improve study efficiency? many thanks!

don't read in class instead pay atttention to what topics the teacher speaks about. They won't cover everything in the book. So don't read the whole book. The test questions will come mostly from the teachers 'pet' topics.
Understanding your teacher will have more impact on your grade than knowing how to read fast or spot key concepts in the book on your own.
