The word Jesus makes me think of ignorant fundies. I am sorry sweetie but it does. I believe he taught about enlightenment and not salvation.
The word God makes me think of the creator of my soul.

Jesus is the Anglicized version of the Greek Iesus, which is the transliteration of Yoshua, the Hebrew name he was likely called by his Mother and friends. He was the word of God made flesh. Now he stands at the controls of this vast universe.
God is the name usually applied to the Father of Jesus. He is greater than Jesus even though Jesus, the Word, created this planet and everything in it (John 1:1-3).

Jesus- Nice guy that has been spit on again and again by organized religion.
God- A fable made up when there was no explanation for how we got here and how things work up. There are many different kinds of these many who people swear are the only real one because hes talked to them. But one ventures to ask how could all those gods exist. And if its a possibility what they hear is just there own ignorance and wishful thinking.

I'm a Christian, so it doesn't change much. Jesus IS God. But God is also the Holy Spirit and the Father. Jesus ISN'T the Holy Spirit or Father. But they are all God. Jesus was God walking on Earth. God is The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

I believe they are three different personalities, but equal. One in thought and power with different "jobs" - they all created the world and man. "Let us make man..." Gen.1:26 Jesus is God the Son Who's assignment was to come to earth as a Man and show us who God is!

When you say God, I think of my Father in Heaven
When you say Jesus, I think of my "access" to my Father in Heaven with Jesus' righteousness covering my sins so I can come boldly before the Throne.

that's a very good question TTC
I understand the trinity pretty well, however I will still think of Jesus as my brother/best friend, while I think of God as "father".
There is equal respect for both, because I know that both are equal and have only my best inerest at heart. I can trust them both equally, and I address them both equally as much.
blessings :)

No difference, Jesus is God.
You've merely identified Him by name once, and by title in the other.
