You don't. Instead of telling him what you don't like, try telling him what really turns you on. He might try it and end up good in bed.

I don't think there is really such a thing as bad in bed. I think it either comes down to ignorance of what people want, and in fewer cases, indifference. Most men want to please and will do so if you point them in the right direction.

During a neutral time (IE- not in bed) tell them that you love it when they (insert thing they do well here) but you would love it even more if they did (insert item they need to try).

ask him to do stuff you like, and talk to him about what you want while you are doing it, tell him i want to feel it more if you do it this way or so.. hope this would help
