For an easy and tasty (american) wheat just go with 40% 2-row and 60% wheat malt.

1/2 oz of cascade at 60 and 1oz of cascade (or any other hop you enjoy) at 1 min. That should put you at a SG of ~1.045 and ~13 IBU's. Refreshing and quaffable.

I prefer lagers during the summer (I brew them in late winter) and/or a nice low gravity pale ale that I can consume several pints of w/o getting too hammered.

Go to www.brewboard.com and post in the recipe section for a good source of suggestions to your request. Hope this helps.

There are three types of wheat beers:

American Wheat Beers are very light and fairly neutral beers.

German Wheat Beers (heffeweizens) are spiced with clove and bananas from the yeast used.

Belgian Wheat Beers (wits) are spiced with coriander and orange.

Don't drink beer, Cambodian Breast Milk is so much better and tastier. It's also fresh and right off the breast.
