You can try to trade it for another car, but the dealership is not going to give you anywhere near what you paid for the Jeep. If it's not badly damaged, and you say it's being repaired, just keep it and drive it. Thinking your credit will take a hit because of a wreck is wrong, the wreck has nothing to do with your credit rating. But, if you trade the car in after only owning it a short time, then your credit will take a hit, as you haven't established a credit history long enough with the lender.

take it from me i used to sell cars...once you ride off that lot the car is yours and it is not considered new anymore. if you come back now and try to trade your jeep not only is it considered used but it is also wrecked...even if its been repaired it knocks the value down...it is now only way too early to trade but you will owe way too much compared to what you owe due to interest and the accident...i say just go with what you got hopefully the repair shop is a good one and that your insurance is pretty good too...sorry but i think you are stuck with this jeep for a while

A car loses value as soon as you purchase it. You could trade it in for another new one but it would cost you several thousand dollars extra because (a) your Jeep has been wrecked, and yes they will know even if you don't tell them and (b) because they will now have to resell your Jeep as used. Any vehicle that has previously been titled to an individual is used even if it still has 0 miles.

well you could but it will cost you a ton. First the car was wrecked, second in a few weeks it will be a model year old. I would suspect you will loose about 30-40% of the value of the car.
