We don't control when we die. We may be able to bargain our last breath with God, but He holds the keys to death. God takes our spirits "home" when we've completed sanctification.

There is no arbitrary age that is the right age to die. It all depends upon the life that has been lived. Many people have lived to be very old chronologically, but have barely lived. Others have had a full and happy life while still very young. It is all relative to the person living that life. As long as a life has been well-lived, a person has had closure in their life with the things that have been left unfinished, and they are ready in their hearts to meet their Maker, then there should be no regrets when the good Lord calls them home.

30, 40, 50, 70 , 0r 80 doesn't matter. As long as you think you are ready and have no worries left behind, as long as you are mentally prepared with the knowledge of about spiritual life, that's the sweetest part.

70 is good, but I am hoping for 85.

I don't think I would want to live any longer than 85 because you really start falling apart, medically-speaking at that age.

I think any age is a happy age to go home to God if you truly know that you are going to be with Him. It is the people who are left behind that suffer.

70 is way too young now a days 30 years ago that may have been old, I think 85-90 is now a ripe old age

70 is a good age, a person lived a long time.
Me? I am no where near that age but if my time was up in the next week, I would be thrilled to leave here.

I think more like 80. Jerry Falwell was 73!
My Father-in-law is 83 and my Mother is 80.

No, 126. Yeah, 126.
126 1/2. even better.
48 is okay I guess.
3 maybe. But not for the parents.
19yrs, 2mo, 3 days, 2 hrs, 36 seconds. Yeah, that's good.
